State reporting

One report for NERIS and your state.

Some states ask for more than NERIS: extra questions, separate notices with their own deadlines, or a copy of the report in the state's own system. Reskyr builds all of it into the report your crew already writes, so the state's questions, deadlines and details live with the incident instead of in a separate binder.

How it works

Your state's requirements live inside the incident report.

State questions in the same report

  • Your state's questions appear in the incident only when that incident calls for them
  • Checked as you write, the same way as NERIS fields
  • Your NERIS filing is never held up by a state question

Notices that track themselves

  • When an incident needs a separate state notice, Reskyr opens it on the incident with its due date
  • The facts the state asks for are pulled from the report, ready to copy into the state's form
  • Officers are alerted when a notice opens, and again if it goes overdue
  • Open notices show on the Command Center, overdue first, until they're done

Submissions from the same report

  • Reskyr sends the report to your state's system from the incident In certification
  • Every submission is logged on the incident with its status
  • State questions are answered once, on the incident

Each department remains responsible for its own reporting obligations.
